Tim Eifler

unnamed (1)Tim’s main interest is understanding the fundamental physics processes that govern our universe. In particular, he is interested in testing the nature of gravity and studying the cause of cosmic acceleration. Implications of cosmological observations to particle physics (dark matter and neutrino properties) are very exciting to me as well. Within DES, he works on developing analysis concepts to address these questions through a combination of multiple cosmological probes, in particular weak lensing, galaxy clustering, and galaxy clusters. He is interested in all aspects of cosmological modeling and in the general algorithm development associated with parameter inference concepts.
